Tomorrow is Colorado Day. The day Colorado became a state. Why not celebrate by signing up for one of the five hikes (and a camp out) already on the Denver Trail Heads schedule for August?
Did you know 99% of our members come on hikes alone? It's a great way to meet people.
Now, back to the main topic here -- If you hike in the Boulder area, you may be aware that Boulder started charging non-Boulder County residents a parking fee at the Dowdy Draw and Flatirons Vista trailheads awhile back. Starting July 11, that fee has also been added at Marshall Mesa, South Boulder Creek West and the Greenbelt Plateau trailheads. (details)
More and more trailheads are starting to charge a fee, you may want to put a few $1 bills in your vehicle, just in case.
Have a great month! Now get out there!
