I appreciate the unbiased criticism and support that the other writers gave. My goal is to become a better writer myself, and this session helped.

y'all interested in seeing my progress on the short story I've been working on for submission (the thing in the strong accent), something new, or the humor one I worked on Saturday?

Bring what you most need feedback on. But, yes, I'm interested in it all.

Hi everybody, I am brand new to the group and I am excited to be a part of it. Right now I am working on an idea for a novel and I've got about 7000 words on paper (just finished Chapter 1), which is about 24 pages double spaced. Should I just bring in a section and then bring the next section next time? Or are larger works not appropriate for this group?

I would love to get some feedback from real writers.

Bring in the six page section you need feedback on. We have filled the time completely at every meeting so far. You can bring in a different section at the next meetup, or the reworked section that you first brought in.

I'll be brand new on Wednesday. I'm sure you know that already. I'd like to bring a personal essay I've been working on. Is that okay with everyone? Do I watch to see how many people are coming to know how many copies to bring if you say it's okay?

    • Joe F

Yes as long as you follow the guidelines we are open to just about anything. And yes watch to see how many are coming, recently almost all make it.

I'm working on dialog, so have written a light short story, which I'd like to share.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
