I grew up with Ian Flemming and H.G. Wells, then found Tolkein and Lovecraft, enjoy George Martin.
As far as the actual process is concerned, I struggle writing believable female characters. Having the male perspective colors my world view, and my female characters tend to become stereotyped. My biggest hurdle is keeping a positive view while wading through the swamp that is the publishing business.
I am a retired high school teacher who keeps himself busy, in part, writing fiction. I have published some short stories, but my current interest is finding either an agent or publisher for my completed novel. I write tales of horror.
Another rewarding experience.
