What: Premier Winemaker Event: Highly Rates Sonoma Wines with Rick Sayre, Rodney Strong Vineyards at the Inverness Resort and

UncorkedDenver.com invites you to meet Rick Sayre, the award winning winemaker for Rodney Strong Vineyards  for a wine and food pairing event featuring their highly rated estate wines and Symmetry.    Mr. Sayre will answer questions, and discuss specific characteristics of each of his hand crafted wines.

Directions and Parking: I-25 to Dry Creek exit, East on Dry Creek, turn right on Inverness Drive (outer road). The restaurant has FREE parking in front of the hotel and is a few blocks from the Light Rail to the Dry Creek Station (take the walkway over the I-25)

2009 Rodney Strong Chalk Hill Chardonnay with prosciutto wrapped melon on bamboo 

2008 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast, 90 points with herbed goat cheese w/ olive tapenade on cucumber (vegetarian)

2009 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Enthusiast, 91 points with Mini Beef Wellington

2007 Symmetry Meritage, Wine Enthusiast, 94 points with Seared Bison Crostini with Arugula and Horseradish

Dinner after the wine tasting: We usually have 40-50% of the group stay for dinner after the event. It's a great way to continue the conversation with new friends.   The Inverness will be offering a prix fix menu (from Restaurant week...extended for our group) for $26.40 a person plus tax/tip at their award winning Baca Restaurant. There is a place on eventbrite  to RSVP for dinner afterwards.   You may also order off of their wonderful menu. For members who want to continue to casually mingle, the fireside lounge will be open.

Please Note: NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR/NO WALK UPS!....sorry but we will have to turn away anyone who doesn't have an advance ticket as wine and food has been allotted based on the ticketed attendees and we do not handle money at the door. Refunds are processed up to 2 days prior to an event for any reason.   99% of advance refunds have been processed for this group!    Please note: We cannot refund "no shows" and folks who decided in the afternoon or after the event has commenced they cannot attend.   Notifications the afternoon of the event for illneess are too late for the organizer to refund as the headcount has been sent to the chef, it's too late to find waitlist people to take your ticket and the group is charged based on the headcount.  If you are ill the morning of the event, please email immediately, before 9:00 am.
