Meet kindred book lovers in the Denver Book Club Meetup Group. You'll read and discuss a selected book every month as we alternate between fiction and nonfiction. For a list of the books we've read since 2007, please click here: http://meetup.com/denverbookclub/about/
Books are chosen by the members themselves through monthly nominations and votes. We only read books available in used bookstores and libraries. We do not allow any marketing messages at any time. Our choice to become a "commercial-free zone" helps to explain why we have more than 850 members. The main reasons are great people and lively conversations at our gatherings.
We meet the fourth Thursday evening of every month in the historic Denver Press Club. We ask $3 per person. Please join us to laugh, share wisdom, gain insights, and make wonderful new friends!

Our November fiction book selection is The Haunting of Hill House, by Shirley Jackson. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we are meeting on Wednesday instead of Thursday.
