Re: [bookclub-679] July, August, September Meetups

For September, I would like to recommend:
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand or The Magus by John Fowles

FYI, there were two notices posted on the calendar for the July 26 Meetup (Charles posted one, and then I posted one without seeing his - my bad). I've consolidated the two notices today, but some of you who RSVP's early may not be shown on the current posting. So, if you have a moment, please check the website to see it shows your July RSVP. If not, please RSVP again (or for the first time). Thanks.

And please remember that you do not need to read to book, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, to come to the July Meetup. Even so, I've posted online in the event description a link to the full text and links to assorted book synopses. Now you have no excuses!

Please go the the website polls link and vote for the August book you prefer. As of today, BLINK is way ahead, but only two dozen of us have voted so far.

Also, now is a good time for posting to the mailing list (or emailing the coordinators) your nominations for our September fiction selection. The earlier we get a novel selected, the sooner we all have time to read it, yes?

See you in two weeks!
