Denver Book Club March Meetup Cancelled

Reading and talking about good books may be vitally important to our lives and our cultures, but no one should be asked to put themselves or their vehicles at risk to drive through a blizzard for a book discussion, no matter how worthy.

So, tonight's meetup of The Denver Book Club is canceled. Stay home warm and dry with those you love.

Instead, we will discuss this month's book selection at our April Meeting. So. this gives you another month to read The First American: The Life and Times of Benjamin Franklin, by H.W. Brands.

I've updated the Meetup details at our website:

When: April 23,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Denver Press Club
1330 Glenarm Place Free parking in back and on north side of bldg.
Denver, CO 80204

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Maybe" as well as "Yes".)

Also, be on the lookout for a special "Book Walk & Talk" on Saturday, April 18. You'll get a notice about the event soon, which will feature a rambling conversation in a Denver park followed by eating together. This is the first in a series of alternative programs we will be holding in conjunction with other Denver area Meetup groups. Such programs will be in addition to our regular monthly meetings at the Denver Press Club.

If you have questions, you can always get in touch with me through the "Contact Organizer" link on Meetup:

Stay safe today, everyone!
