limiting email access FYI

Hey all

I just wanted to pass along a quick note that may help with limiting the number of emails in your inbox.  When on any meetup page in the upper right hand corner where it says:

"Welcome back, (your name) if you click on the blue account tab
it will take you to your account info (but you can also control your memberships and communication as well.)

Click on the membership and  communication tab and you can choose your email preference from any of your meetup groups.  (Choices are not at all, one email daily, or as they are sent.)  If you choose not at all you will still get emails initiated by the organizers but none of the email sent by other members.  Then if you want to check what has been sent all you have to do is click on the messages (above the polls on the left hand side) and the mailing list is archived for you to review by clicking on any thread.

For example - I didn't even know about the 14 emails sent between the 24th and 25th until I checked the mailing list archive today (the 29th).

Hope this helps to give you more control over your inbox ;)

Take care,
Robb
