Important! Email your senators in support of bill HB1318 tonight

Hi All,

I just got this email from Jeannine Crooks - if we act now, we have a chance to make a difference and open the door to more income and opportunity for all of us. Please step up to the plate and contact your senators tonight!

Hello Everyone,

The Senate still hasn't scheduled a hearing for the bill repealing the Internet Tax. That hearing must take place today, or this chance to repeal the Internet Tax Bill will die, since the current legislative session ends tomorrow. Passage of this bill would remove so many restrictions on merchants, that Colorado affiliates would once again be able to work with Amazon and many other merchants.

Here's an example of what to say to your Senator. Please feel free to add/change it to fit your own style, but be sure to ask that they support the bill and request that it be brought for a vote TODAY! Please contact your Senator and every Senator on this list, both by phone and email. This is our best chance to make things right for Colorado affiliates again, but it will only happen if we produce a concerted effort right now!

Dear Senator______,

I am asking you to support HB 1318, the Colorado Policy Use Tax For Out of State Retailers Bill, repealing the Internet Tax Bill. As an internet marketer, the passage of HB[masked] last year severely affected my ability to conduct business here (along with over 5,000 other internet marketers), and repealing it is a critical step in the right direction. As you may know, HB 1318 passed the House last week by an overwhelming bi-partisan majority vote, and it was recently endorsed by The Denver Post.

Right now, HB 1318 is not currently on the schedule for the Senate before the end of this legislative session. I strongly encourage you to push for it to be included on today's agenda, as well as support its passage.

Thank you for your assistance and support.

Here are the Senators that especially need to be contacted:
