Our meetup at Shift Workspaces covering Responsive Web Design via Twitter Bootstrap is tonight! Shift Workspaces is located at 383 Corona St Denver, CO 80218. The zip code in last night's email was wrong: please update your address to use zip code 80218.
We're also excited that DenverLAMP has surpassed 550 members! That's over 30% growth since 01/2012!
Our fourth meetup: introduction to responsive web design via twitter bootstrap
Responsive web design is an approach to web design in which a site is crafted to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones). Responsive web design uses CSS3 media queries, (an extension of the @media rule) to auto-configure the layout. Ethan Marcotte coined the term in an article - http://www.alistapart.com/articles/responsive-web-design/ - in May 2010.

This meetup will be the first in (hopefully) many collaborations between the DenverLAMP and Refresh Denver groups. The Refresh Denver group usually meets on Wednesday nights and covers topics for both developers and designers.
The meetup will be presented by Chris Baril, who holds a Computer Science B.S. degree from the University of British Columbia and has been developing websites since the late 90s. For more information visit chrisbaril.com
Code Talent (www.code-talent.com) is sponsoring this meetup by providing the venue space. It will be held at the Shift Workspaces, which is located at 383 Corona St Denver, CO 80218. Show up between 6:00-6:30 to enjoy the free food and drinks while networking with other members! Any folks looking for website development positions should check out and contact Code Talent.
We are still looking into future venue locations, speakers and volunteers:
Do you know of a venue that could be interested in hosting one of our future meetups? Or are you interested in getting involved? Please email [address removed] and let us know about it!
