State of Search

This month's SEMPO Meet Up will feature a panel discussion about the State of Search for 2010. We'll look at what went on last year and what to expect for the coming year. If you do any kind of search engine marketing, this would be a great meeting to come to.

The panelists for the SEMPO State of Search presentation will focus on the numbers, budgets, amounts spent in 2009, and amount anticipated for the various types of search marketing activities.

Here are the panelists:

LaShieta Sayer

LaSheita Sayer is the Chief Marketing Officer of ZoZo Group, LLC. an internet marketing and SEO agency. She is a graduate of the Business School at the University of Colorado at Denver and Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France. She is the current Chair for SEMPO’s Colorado working group.

As an experienced marketer LaSheita develops strategic marketing plans for ZoZo Group clients to help them meet their business development, marketing and internet marketing goals.

Jim Kreinbrink

Jim Kreinbrink is the President of Hyper Dog Media, a Colorado-based Search Engine Optimization and Internet consulting firm. Hyper Dog Media was started five years ago, primarily outsourcing to ad agencies and marketing firms. With more than a decade of experience in developing and creating websites, Jim's team uses innovative best practice approaches to optimize websites for both prospective customers and search engines. Jim’s clients range from large corporations to "online only" businesses, in a wide variety of industries.

Jim is heavily involved in the search marketing industry as an active member of the Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization and is a SEMPO Institute Hero. Jim has given SEO and Online Reputation Management presentations for the DaVinci Institute, the Association of Strategic Marketing, as well as economic development organizations throughout Colorado. As current Organic SEO Committee Chairperson for the Colorado SEMPO working group, and founder of the Denver SEO Meetup, Jim is helping to build the local search marketing community.

Dave Carlson

Dave is the organizer of the Denver SEMPO Meet Up and has been involved in search engine marketing for almost 10 years. He's the owner of Green Chair Marketing Group, a search engine marketing and web design company based in Littleton. Green Chair is celebrating its 10th year in business in 2010.

We are starting to charge just $5 for our Meet Up gatherings. This is to help to pay for food at the Meet Up and to prepare for a major event coming this fall. None of the monies collected go to the organizers of the Meet Up or local board members of SEMPO. All of us volunteer our time to help spread great information about search engine marketing in the Denver area. You can pay when you make a reservation or at the door.
