Camping Weekend

THE CAMPING TRIP IS ON, RAIN OR SHINE!

Get out of town for a relaxing weekend in the mountains! We'll head up Friday evening and stay until Sunday. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby during the day, and we'll hang out around the campfire at night. This is a fairly unstructured weekend of rest and relaxation.

This campground is conveniently located near Woodland Park, just west of Colorado Springs (approximately 75-90 minutes from Denver). The campground sits at 8,000 feet and is located in a ponderosa pine forest. There is access to the Centennial Bike Trail which runs to Manitou Lake Recreation Area. There are restroom facilities and drinking water, but no electricity. As of this posting, we are able to have a fire in the fire ring at the site. Pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash and respond well to voice commands.

You will be responsible for bringing your own food and beverages and camping equipment. Specific directions to the campground and other details will be emailed to you approximately one week before the trip.
