Rock climbing on Fri night @ Rock n Jammin 2

Let's hit the walls at 7:30pm(beat the rush hour) on a Friday night. And maybe get a drink afterwards. I'll send out my cell number to those who RSVP "YES".

Member Guest Day is happening on this night. Members allowed to bring a guest in for free! So if anyone is a member of Rock n Jammin and could get me in for free, I'll buy you a drink.

Hey everyone, sorry for the last minute cancellation but, I have a sick kid. Notice how they always do that when you have something planned? I was so looking forward to this as I often go to R&J and want to improve and pass the lead belay test. Maybe I'll set something up for next weekend. Have fun!

If anybody is looking to get a head start, I can be at the gym around[masked]pm. I have a RnJ membership and will welcome partners who are certified to lead belay.

Ok, I guess I cannot privately send out an email to the group, so here goes. Hello. I got done hiking all of the 14ers in Colorado last year. It took me 4 and 1/2 years to do it. The last two years were spent climbing some grueling terrain on the hardest 14ers and I had to pick up rock climbing as a life-saving necessity. :):):)

I started to enjoy climbing as a result, but my skills have gotten a little stale from doing other things like traveling. Now I would like to get back into it. I am about a 5.9 climber, but I will make attempts at 5.10 minus tomorrow night.

Bring rock climbing shoes, harness and belay tool if you have one. We will meet @ 7:30pm in the small lobby area before paying at the desk. That way I can get a feel of who can be trusted to belay others. My cell is[masked]-6952.

Look forward to meeting all of you tomorrow night!

Sounds great Frank. I passed my belay test at R&J and can also lead climb belay- can't actually lead climb though. I'm a solid 5.8 climber and can do some 5.9. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

OK. I will steal away for a couple of hours but, I won't be able to go for a drink after.

Sorry, this is an adult event. Please leave your kids at home. Let's set the age limit to 21 and over.

Same question. My 16 yr old daughter might like to come and climb, if it's kosher.

Hey guys, I'd love to come. I do have my 11 year old son next weekend. Sometimes folks like these events to be adutls only, others say, "bring him we love when kids get into climbing". I like to leave it up to the event organizers so as not to offend. I'm flexible.
