There are usually a lot of other people that show up for this drop-in that aren't part of meetup.
For the last 3 months we have had enough players for the recreation center to set up two nets. (there must be 24 players for them to set up the second net )
Generally there are 24 players that want to play 6/2 or 5/1 upper level of play, so if you don't know how to play this then you probably should play on Thursday night here, or somewhere else.
is what play on the west gym usually looks like.
In the past beginners haven't had much fun at this location due to the higher level of play that usually takes place, although we did have some beginners or lower intermediate level of players in the past, although I wouldn't advise them to attend.
FYI Wheat Ridge rec charges a $6.50 fee for non-resident drop-ins. They have punch cards and memberships for lower prices.
The Andersen gym can be rented if anyone wants to take on that responsibility, then the level of play could be whatever level you like.
This recreation center has scheduled drop-in on Sunday, but rarely are there enough to have the required 6 people to set up the net. Sunday would be a great time to have intermediate or beginner volleyball at this gym as volleyball scheduled is already scheduled, but currently no one is attending.
