Thanks for joining Code for Communities. I hope you can meet us in person tonight at Galvanize.
Our group is going through some important changes right now, so you're joining at a very exciting time! One thing you'll need to know: there are often other groups meeting at Galvanize, so look for us past the lobby in the conference rooms.
See you soon.
Want to share Ruby skills with other professionals? Here I suggest a skill exchange website for you.( http://yirihome.com/) It's a FREE 1 on 1 knowledge trade. You learn from your skill partner and teach another skill back. We do this everyday at work in a company. Now you can do it with local people. 1 on 1 is better than a group! Enjoy you exchange~
My resolutions is to be more active in 2012 (I did pretty well in 2011 lol)..... get out on more hikes and what not... I see you are in CGE...... have you done anything with them yet?
Hope you had Happy Holidays! :-) So what are your 2012 New Year's Resolutions? :-)
Hi Jennifer, Like the idea and the calculator. It would be nice if the calculator can show types of trips one can take for a given budget. Example, one can take an economy international trip as far as asia/europe for about USD2000. Alternatively, one should be able to select a type of budget and locale and get a rough cost estimate. Does not need to be accurate. If you think it will be hard to get the data, then you can allow your site visitors to post their trip and cost. Good luck.
