Re: [denverwebtech] I am looking for someone to take over the Denver Web Technologies Meetup Group

Hey Al,

What's the new job? and you'll really like Boston - even though it's not New York. It has an actual China Town and real sea food.

I'm enjoying my not-coding vacation too much to keep the group going, but I've really enjoyed it.

Hope to see you before you move.

Mike

Hey all,

I don't like spamming the group. I have typically avoided doing such things, but this is something that needs to be done.

I am moving to the Boston area in a couple months, and will obviously not be able to be take part in the group any longer. I will, in fact, be missing the October meetup since I will be out of town getting initiated on the new job. I may be able to stop by in November to say give goodbyes to the members, but I am hoping that someone will want to take it over before that.

It is not a difficult group to take care of. At least, not the way I handle it. There are no presentations to prepare. You just have to pay the Meetup fees and make sure folks have a place to get together, share, and network. If you do take it over, there is nothing that says you have to manage it the way I do. I just want to find someone who wants to keep it going.

If this is something you would like to handle, please let me know. I can make appropriate arrangements to transfer the ownership.
