Re: [denverwebtech] How to Use the Mailing List and Message Board

To Allan Babby and Mike Caskey,

OK - this is getting out of hand. The Mailing List should be reserved for general
announcements which everyone in the group needs to know - like Al's. Single,
on-topic responses are ok - about once. It's not good for general discussions.

When you use the Mailing List, first ask yourself if you really want to e-mail
the entire list,  If you do, please fix the Subject Line so it has something to do
with the topic.

If you want to start a thread about ecommerce platforms or potato chips, please do it
in a way which doesn't pollute  everyone's mailbox - like the Message Board.

The Message Board is a bulletin board system which supports threaded discussions on
topics. If you're interested, you can subscribe to updates to the board - or not.

Try it, you'll like it

Here's a q for the crew... what's your favorite ecommerce platform?  I've been using magento lately, with lots of success, but I'm becoming more interested in using Drupal as a site platform, and of course... ecommerce.  I also have a thing going with Goodbarry/sitecatalyst.  What's your gig?

Thanks!
