eGlobal Library® offers the people, processes, and technologies (including support) to build or supplement existing library (physical or virtual) solutions. Today, our libraries support three primary markets: high school, college/university, and professional.

We are looking for a contract/freelance CSS developer who is also good with graphics. Our CSSs take approximately 6-8 hours to create. Sometimes we just need existing CSSs updated due to changes occurring from a platform upgrade, and these CSS changes typically take 1-3 hours. This freelance/contract position is project-specific, on an as-needed basis; it is likely that there will be time gaps between projects. For the first project or two, we’d like the contractor to work onsite at our corporate headquarters in the Denver Tech Center while becoming familiar with our platform, processes, and CSS needs; after that, working offsite is fine.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of CSS
  • Follows best practices for CSS development
  • Strong design skills
  • Ability to brand a site by sampling colors, saving and editing images, etc.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of various browsers and their bugs/limitations
  • Ability to build CSSs with different browsers in mind
  • Your own hardware (laptop or tablet) and software (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and a compulsion to pay attention to detail

Rate will be hourly and based on the contractor’s skill set. Interested applicants should email their resumes to jobs@egloballibrary.com with the subject line “Contract CSS Developer.” Within the body of your email, please include your full name, daytime phone number, mailing address, e-mail address, and a link to your online portfolio.
