Post #: 57
The Culture:

Our client is a company who prides themselves on having a team who all work well together. They will have you do 4 interviews, 2 of which are with the team and direct managers, possibly the CEO and CTO, in order to make sure they can get a good feel for how you communicate and how you work with others. Everyone in the company can approach anyone else in the company and chat, ask questions, and generally get on the same page about what's going on. If you like a highly collaborative company where you want to make an impact and you may talk to developers or the VPE in the span of 5 minutes, then this company could be a great fit.

The Job:

We are looking for a strong senior front-end engineer to contribute to a rapidly growing startup in North Denver. Our client is disrupting their niche, successfully- and they seek candidates who are truly interested in digging in, offering ideas and making a difference.

The Required Skills:

*JavaScript expert (Angular.js / JQuery)
*Solid experience in open source coding
*SQL
*RESTful Web Services and JSON
*CSS
*GIT or SVN

The Nice to Have Skills:

*Enterprise Web Development Experience
*Agile development
*Developing personal projects or contributing to open source projects
*Familiarity with unit testing, continuous integration, TDD, etc.
*Mobile development of any sort, personal or professional

Who We Are:

We are a small professional placement firm focused on making a difference in our community. We give back literally and figuratively by sponsoring great local programs, supporting Meetup groups, and by organizing events focused on the startup world in Denver and Boulder.

We don’t identify with the sales-y or pushy approach that this industry is known for. We pride ourselves on having a candid, honest, straightforward conversation around cultural and technical matching with our clients and we have the same conversation with our candidates.

We are not interested in helping you just find a job, we want to help you find a career doing what you are passionate about. This means that if it’s not a great match, we’ll tell you. If we agree that there’s a good match, we’ll ask you to research our client and then decide whether you want to talk to them.

Our passion is to help our clients build great teams, not just fill positions and we believe our collaborative, honest approach is the right way to do this. Our mantra is "quality over quantity" in everything we do.
