So, let's hope the railway signalling guys aren't sleeping on the job.... or we could really start this meetup with a 'BANG!'.... :-)

I plan to catch the 13:50 train to belper so if anyone wants to join me I'll probably be in the bar at the station for a cheeky head start from about 13:30

    our current plan is:
greenhouse, railway, go get chips, rifleman, devonshire, george and dragon*

*subject to change based on opening hours and/or whim

Just to add to the list of trivia - I read that the stockings Queen Victoria wore on her wedding day were made in Belper!

It is also twinned with Pawtucket, who sent over a giant Mr Potato Head as a gift, which was returned as it was deemed 'hideous'. Belper has class!

We'll sort out the specifics closer to the time but the basic plan will be to meet at the station and then meander from pub to pub stopping for a food or when something interesting catches our eye
