Annual Rolls-Royce Heritage Day where, just one day per year, RR open their doors to the public with an array of informative and educational displays of more than 100 years of automotive and aerospace engineering!

The exhibition will be open at their Training and Educational Centre in Wilmore Rd as well as live displays of engines running at the Light Alloy Foundry works in Osmaston Rd. A free shuttle bus will be running every 15 minutes between the two sites.

This event is free and children are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult. Photography is permitted for personal use only.

It was really great to see all those old automobiles and aircraft engines 'saying' 'Proud to have been made in Derby'! Thank you for those who attended.

I'm doing the Three Peaks this weekend. I'm gutted that I'm not going to be able to make it.

I shall be there outside the gate at 10am to meet folks signed up to this event. However, I will need to leave at 11.30am in order to attend another Derby Sociables Event! Thereafter, participants may continue to enjoy the displays at their leisure for as long as they wish!
