bike ride

Rain or shine, a medium grade road ride of around 20 miles including the odd hill, expecting this to take 2 hours. We'll meet outisde the quad and need to set off promptly so those with evening commitments can be back in good time.

Great ride with lovely people & wonderful weather, its just a shame I fell off half way... I was really too tired to cycle any more ;-)
Thank you all for being so great at looking after me. I've got a few scrapes & bruises but nothing too serious.

Now I know why I ended up in Melbourne- the map link went to Melbourne! And because Im Not familiar with Derby didn't get the 'Quad' reference! Staunton Harold reservoir was nice!

I'm tempted to come to this but are you all long established cyclists? I might struggle on the hills!

there will be a few hills on this route, but we do wait for people at convenient points, so come along if you can make it

Hi, I'm hoping to join you, but I'm looking at trains from Nottingham as my car is too small to put a bike in the back, trouble is I can either get there at 12:30 or 1:30. I think 12:30 would mean I'm hanging around for ages, so when you say your leaving promptly, would I have time to cycle from the train station to quad before you go? I'm afraid I'm not quite sure how close they are?!

it's only a 5 min ride from station to the quad so we'll wait for you to arrive before setting off :)
