Scooby-snack competition with Guest Judges

Now presenting our guest judges: 'JIM "I'm not the one off neighbours" ROBINSON' AND 'THE BEAST OF BELPER'

NEW RULE! You will have an unknown time limit, build to the music provided by The Beast, when the music stops your sandwich must be topped-off with bread, and that's it!

Ever felt jealous at seeing Scooby & Shaggy's sandwich stack? Then lets celebrate British Sandwich Week with a friendly competion - who can build the tallest sandwich!!!

I've listed this seperately from the DS birthday party to avoid cluttering the event page, but this will take place at the same time and venue so feel free to sign up to this if youn wish to take part in the competition whilst enjoying the birthday activities.

In the interests of fairplay, the rules will be:

• sandwich must be self-supporting and edible, so no non-edible internal or external scaffolding, exoskeletons or spaceframes,

• sandwich must start and end with a bread product and must not be made up of more than 30% bread by height, so no standing a loaf on its end,

• planting a flagpole at the top will not count in the final height measurement.

No prizes, just the feeling of satisfaction at winning and satisfying the exacting standards of The Beast.

Who, or what, is the beast of Belper?! I saw a few on the pub crawl we did there, did you hire it then? That's what I call planning ahead!

Does the snack have to use the same bread throughout? I'm thinking of using " special" dense bread at the bottom to combat COG issues, and do we actually have to eat the end product?!

If fundamentally edible is a rule, I'm in!
