What is your Dachshund(s) name(s)?

PollyAnna (17 yrs), Anna (10), Elke (8), Snickers (12), Sammy (9), Skittles (8), Hope (6 1/2), Zia (5), Bubba (3), Darcy (1 1/2) and the token Chihuahua Chica (2).

I have raised and shown Dachshunds since 1971. I also do Dachshund Rescue in Arizona. To say the breed is my favorite is almost an understatement. I hope to meet other Dachshund owners and maybe introduce them to other activities with their Doxie.

What Donna is saying about this Meetup Group

It is good for the dogs to get out of their own yard and home and meet other dogs and new people. My experience has shown me that Dachshunds do seem to be drawn to other Dachshunds and this is such a wonderful 'social' experience for them. It also shows the timid dog that being in a situation with strangers and new dogs is not a threatening experience. I brought two 9 month old pups and they loved roaming from person to person to get attention and meeting the other dogs. So many nice people accompaning their Dachshunds, too! This experience is so good for widening the horizons of our little homebound couch potatoes.
