A-Desiflava was formed in November 2010 with a view to organize events & gatherings for South Asians in Hong Kong. It all started from www.meetup.com/desiflava website founded by Gaurav Pardeshi with a view to connect all the South Asians in Hong Kong. Various meet ups and events were organized and the group now has over 100 members who regularly participate in various functions and gatherings.

In June 2011, A-Desiflava started toying with the idea of launching ‘Hong Kong’s First Lifestyle Magazine for South Asians’ which will be distributed absolutely FREE and will cover all topics which south Asians prefer reading. The main idea behind this magazine was to touch the common working class of south Asians in Hong Kong and provide them with an interesting magazine which will entertain, enlighten and engage all through one platform.

In September 2011, the first Issue of A-Desiflava was launched and 3000 copies were circulated all over Hong Kong. Second issue was launched recently in January 2012 and now it continues to release once every three months. Being a quarterly magazine and free for distribution a lot of big, medium and small firms in Hong Kong have supported this magazine by ways of advertisements, contributions and write-ups.

With Events we will continue organizing our regular meet ups and gatherings for our meet up members and we also plan to organize big events which will include stage shows, live performances, cultural events, stage shows & gatherings for general public.                                       ‘We promise full entertainment, satisfaction guaranteed’
