More about Cynthia Kaschub - 

Cynthia is a Sr. User Experience Researcher in the Experience Design Team at Adobe.  Since joining Adobe in 2013, Cynthia has been leading exploratory research aimed at identifying product opportunities for web designers and developers and, more recently, for the Marketing Cloud.

Prior to joining Adobe, Cynthia obtained her PhD in Cognitive & Sensory Processes where her dissertation research focused on the role that emotion has on working memory and attention.   After graduate school, Cynthia worked at Intel Corporation where she was a Senior Human Factors Engineer for both software and hardware development teams.



DesignMap is supporting the Design Thinking community by hosting us in their beautiful offices and bringing the wine! DesignMap is looking to work with unique Design Thinkers & Doers (like you!). If you are interested, be sure to say hi to them at the event or reach out to the group organizer.

    Honestly I did not know that product research was in such disarray in the industry. Research-based strategies are basic for any kind of product development, I thought. I thought the presenter was stating the obvious. Also, the three points she made (research is essential, our perception is biased by our experiences, and know your team strengths) were easily made in 10 minutes. Good graphics, though.
