It seems that every company in the Bay Area is seeking a quality web designer or illustrator. Many designers have the choice of whether to go the consulting route or become a full-time employee.
In this session of "The Design Business", we will have Yan-David Erlich, who has worked at Google & Microsoft and sold two companies to Linkedin & Qualcomm go head to head with Andi Galpern, an experienced freelance designer to discuss the pros and cons of both lifestyles.
We will also share web sites and tips that will make your life easier, so you can focus on the quality of your work.
*Tickets will include food and beverage cover.
**All tickets are transferable for next event, but non-refundable.

This was my first Meet-up and I was impressed. My desire was to make some connections as well as learn a few new things. Yan David and Andi did a wonderful job of making their cases, however this was not a debate. It really comes down to what type of person you are and how that personality would fit with either freelance or full-time employment.
