Product Design and Design Communication
Presented by Stephan Orme of Worklogistics
A highly visual tour of one designer's toolkit. Much of a product designer's work is producing "high definition wire frames" - basically highly detailed wireframes. These are first used for discovery and later serve as the foundation for the build process. They can be useful for a wide range of uses: visualizing layouts, discovery and ideation, plotting workflows, and schema design. This talk will look at how to create these wireframes, how to organize the design and development processes, and the best tools for the job.
Steve is the principal behind Worklogistics, an independent product design studio based in San Francisco. He is currently product designer and PM for Google's open source Compliance Management System.
