We want to everyone who came out and participated. It was a wonderful day, with lots of Paws in Costume. Old World was great with allowing the dogs inside and we couldn't have held this event without their help. Thanks to the Sponsors for donating great prizes for the winner of the Costume Contest which was a Chia Pet, so cute! It was really a great day, and best of all, with this event and previous events the Paw It Forward Campaign's December Pawliday Dog Adoption Event being held at O.C. Animal Care has been funded. So Thank You Everyone for Pawing It Forward and coming out to this Howling Halloween Pawty!

Had a blast. Lots of adorable pups and very nice people. Weather was perfect as well. The Terry's did an awesome job putting this all together. Hope lots of $$ was raised. Riley, the Big Kahuna, had a good time and looks forward to re-match for next year.

we had a great time. Not having children, it was fun to go trick or treating with the pups!

Marilyn, On the Trick-orTreat, map that is in the event listing, there is a Pumpkin on the bottom right hand corner where the Pawty is going to be at the Beer Garden. The box office/ticket window is just outside of there.

Where exactly is the Box Office? I'm planning to have someone drop my grandson there on Saturday & need to give specific directions. Otherwise, this could get very confusing. The map doesn't show where it is. Thanks!

I am bringing our Morkie Snowbell to the races. Its her first time!! Does anyone have any good places to buy doggie costumes? I live in Orange, but also could do Huntington Beach.
October 27, 2011
I bought Kate and Allie matching pumkin costumes but their collars, splitter and leash are red I made them collars two part leashes that can be converted into a splitter in a green that matches the leaves on the costumes. I then sewed plastic pumkins on the leashes and converted a small stuffed pumkin into a bag holder.

Costumes are Optional, but highly suggested. Sharon, Great Idea, we know not all dogs like to wear stuff. Bobo and Gracie Girl, forget about it, not going to happen, but decorating the leash is a great idea! Hang a Bat, Ghost, Spider Web, there are all kinds of things you can do. Even a sign or Spooky Picture. See you all there, if you dare....lol!
October 27, 2011
Lisa just decorate the leash and/or hang some cute Halloween from the collar.
October 27, 2011
Do the dogs need to be in costume in order to go trick or treating? Mine really don't like any type of clothing and try to rip it off! Can't wait to go to this event!
October 27, 2011
Kevin, All Paws can come on out! Only Small Paws can race, but all Paws are able to participate in the Trick or Treating and Costume Contest too! Hope to see you there and drag all your friends and family too! Going to be quite the Dog Day Afternoon!
October 23, 2011
We're going... and our little girl "Kerri" is 65 lbs.! But, I'll leave an official response to our fearless leaders... Stephen & Brandi Terry!
October 23, 2011
I know this may be a dumb question, but are bigger dogs able to go? Jessie is just over 50 lbs, but is small in frame (she's very dense).
October 23, 2011
