It was an amazing time and lots of fun to see the entire family out together for Halloween. Special thanks to the City of Fountain Valley, the sponsors, vendors, exhibitors and volunteers who made this event possible. Next year bigger and better already talking with the City to have a spooky Halloween Maze and some other fun things too. Thank you all for coming.

I understand that it's public, Stephen. That's why I encourage you to put up a sign or something to draw peoples' attention to where to sit together. Otherwise, how will we get to meet other members of the PAWS? I've attended similar events and left without speaking even to ONE fellow member. How would we recognize each other? Name tags, perhaps???? I'd like to meet other PAWS and sit with them, if possible. Thanks for all your efforts!

What an awesome event this was! Great job Brandi, Stephen, and Leo! It was so much fun checking out all the PAWS, parents, and kids in such cute and creative costumes. Great pics you took Candice! All of the vendors were great, too! We enjoyed all of the fun contests, seeing Journey, the Wolf Dog, and the Michael Jackson impersonator was great! It was such a fun day!!!

It was really fun to dress Chloe out and see her friends from the Dog Resort Spa. Like a reunion! Stephen and Brandi did such a great job, and is so passionate about dogs and their owners experiences with our poochies! Unfortunately, Chloe wasn't feeling well, probably too much sun and we missed the costume contest, but got to see some really great costumes on the dogs! People are so creative and there are so many cute dogs! Thanks to all the vendors! You really made it fun to meet all of you!

Hi all, this event is open to the public. The Dog Club has created this event, organized this event and is hosting this event. The City of Fountain Valley has been extremely kind in allowing and assisting in Dog-Friendly Activities like this one and like Summerfest Dog Day Afternoon this past June to occur. Since Brandi, Leo, Patricia, Keisha and myself are running this entire event for everyone the best place to meet other members out of the crowd is probably at the Stage near the info booth which we will be at. Additionally, look for Connie or David Martinez as they will be attending as well. We apologize if you thought this was a Club only event, it's Not, the Entire Southern California Community has been invited and is more than welcome to participate. The More the Merrier! See you all there! It's going to be tons of fun!

We completed most of our prep for "Howling Halloween in the Park" late this afternoon at Fountain Valley's Recreation Center and Sport Park (Brookhurst & Heil). Tomorrow, Sunday, October 21, at noon, marks the start of our event!!!
Even with the cooler weather (including "morning" drizzle) in the forecast, our "afternoon" event (12pm - 5pm) is definitely a "GO". The cooler fall temperatures will make it more comfortable for everyone...especially for those of you in costume.
For our event to be successful, we need you to PLEASE COME OUT AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! We hope to see all of you, humans and paws alike, tomorrow afternoon....

Good ideas! Sometimes, though, in these large venues, it's hard to see a banner unless it's huge and/or brightly colored. I hope all the other PAW parents will similarly look for the banner and try to sit as close as possible to it so we can get to know one another and our beloved doggies!!
