I'm retired and live in Orange. I belong to Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets (fochp.org) and a volunteer foster home of 3 dogs. Fostering has been fun, I really enjoy the dogs. Marcy

Fosters are: Sisters - Samantha and Lexus are Doxie/Pom. They are about 2 years old. Dexter is a Chihuahua and about 3 years old. My dog, who was a foster, is Phoebe, a Min Pin, about 10 years old.

What is your PAW's favorite activity?

Play, play, play with each other, car rides, walks, and the dog park. My dog would like to be an only dog, but she is getting to like the dog park, loves walks, and likes me to carry her around.

I was disappointed that I didn't sit closer to the group and introduce are selfs. The 2 of us had 7 dogs with us and I thought it might be too close with all the dogs there. On the walk we were by our selfs. Disappointed, but would go again.

Hi Marcella: Sorry you didn't sit with the rest of us or at least right next to us. Next time lets not let that type of thing happen to anyone. We're new to club and not sure how things work so didn't say anything. I understand that you were disappointed, I would have been too. Everyone is so nice and such good dogs that I am certain no one actually realized what was happening with the seating.

Welcome to the Spread the Sunshine group!! I am so sorry I could not attend the event "The Cancer Revolution" last night. I had a gallbladder attack and will be having surgery to remove it tomorrow, Friday. I look forward to meeting you at another event in the very near future.

DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUB designed to get PARENTS and their PAWS out of the house and enjoying life. The club was specifically created to place PARENTS and their PAWS together in fun social activities, while Advocating for Dog Welfare and Adoption.

ALL FRIENDLY PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN!

Through the club we hold fun social activities, outings and events such as trips to Dog Beaches, Bark Parks, Hiking Trails, Restaurant and Happy Hour Pawties, Camping Trips, Paw Classes, Paw Expos, Pawventure Vacations, Adoption Events and More so that the PARENTS and their PAWS can play and socialize together at fun PAW-friendly venues.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS AT THE UPCOMING OUTINGS!

THE DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB'S "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN benefits Local Needy and Adoptable Dogs by funding Special Adoption Events in our community. This Club is so much more than just a place to have a great time with our PAWS but also through the Club's joint efforts with Local Businesses, Agencies, Dog Welfare Groups and County Officials we have been able to positively affect the lives of many more deserving PAWS who are not as fortunate to have wonderful PARENTS like our PAWS do.
