Introduction

Hi, I'm Faye

What are a few of your favorite films and why?

"Amadeus" -- with Tom Hulce. I appreciated the fact that the screenwriter told the story of the protagonist through the eyes of the antagonist. Brillant! "Inception" -- Facinated by the premise. Loved the taunt suspense. Loved the end that kept you guessing. "Julie and Julia" -- Clever way of storytelling. Life of an everyday woman (Julie) was employed to tell the story of an extraordinary one -- Julia Child. AND -- I love good food . . . Bridesmaids -- An all out riot!

A movie quote to share?

Describe a loved/hated movie cliché.

Formulaic movies, horror. Do not like "preachy" movies. LOVE good documentaries. LOVE good screenwriting.

    Hi Faye!
How was the movie last night? I went into the other theater and watched 'Rampart'. It was enjoyable. See you Wednesday. Did you read the entire triology? I'm 1/2 way through.

Thanks so much for the offer. I have white wine and cheese but would love a box of crackers, if you feel like it. Always let me know if you have trouble getting the book - I usually buy a used copy and would be happy to loan it out. Welcome.

Hello Faye and welcome to the group! I agree with your answer to the question regarding African American Authors. Our group is definitely open and overall just enjoy reading good books! I noticed you mentioned you make your own Sangria. I went to a wedding shower this past summer and had my first taste of homemade Sangria and all I can say is its 110% better than the store bought stuff! Once again welcome to the group and please feel free to check out our page!
