Need a sound system provided by the venue. Need a bigger place.

Like the venue but not physically
enough room for number of participants.

Post meeting notice in FYI column of
San Diego Union Tribune newspaper and
    Reader weekly publication.

Not enough room for everyone to comfortably sit.

larger room . more parking...contact those that have expressed interest in Dr. Dean since his announcement. I would not have known about the meetup. if a friend had not contacted me, and I had signed up as a volunteer a few months ago, check your data base.

Venue was otherwise great, but too small for the crowd that showed up. I recommend a venue with a private room. Joe & Ryan are forwarding sign-in. Continue e-mail notices.

I thought it went off very well ... there was energy, inclusion and excitement for the future ... Future MEET UPS will need to be more "substance oriented while maintaining a festive feel" ... All participants should be provided a handout that provides information about the next Meet Up ... and request the participant to Email at least 20 persons to "promote in their words to come out to the Meet Up." No doubt, we will need a larger venue for April's meeting ...

    Good job ...

My first time - very informative and I got a feel for what it's all about. Comfortable environment. A printed schedule of what's coming up would help, but I gather it will be coming via e-mail. Thanks!

It was good to hear that people involved have been involved with other campaigns before and their excitement and enegy was contagious. I am glad to learn that San Diego County is more organized than I thought. The meeeting mostly talked about organizing and the need to get organized. Perhaps next time people should spend more time on issues and why people should get involved and stay involved.

Yeah, dont start launching into talks about 1000$ a plate dinners and the leagality of the whole thing. I came to find out more about dean and this is what I heard. That and more general politicing. The people leading the thing kept reciting the crap from the web. I have questions about Dean's stance's and platforms that arent answered on his websites. I need clarification on things before I can start considering a 1000$ a plate dinner. Right when I got there I was handed a sign up to volunteer for the campaign sheet. Woa, lets have some discussion. There should be some link between Dean's offic (or himself) and these meetups to answer platform questions.

Have individual leaders lead smaller groups within the meetup to talk about what to do next and to answer questions.

I think a focus of the Howard Dean campaigns should be to convince the people in the middle to vote for Dean.

If yesterday was any indication, we'll need to move to a bigger venue for our next meet-up.

I thought it was pretty well organized. The group has already out grown The Living Room, more chairs and really there was just standing room for the most part. Next time I'd like to hear much more about Gov. Dean's positions on a host of issues- not just reading from the blog. To convince others we need numerous salient points to 'convert' them. I want to start recruiting friends & family, I need more amo.
