TUESDAY JULY 22 at 8:30AM - 9:30AM * Urgent Vigil Tuesday* :  Urge Mayor Faulconer to sign the earned sick days & minimum wage ordinance! Where: 300 B St. Street, SD 92101
I am so excited that City Council passed the earned sick days and minimum wage measure! But we are not done yet. After council does a second reading, the measure will go to the Mayor. The Mayor can sign or veto the policy.

As Rabbi Laurie Coskey of the Interfaith Center for Worker Justice reminded me yesterday, "we must urge Mayor Faulconer to sign the measure. The American Dream is to reward hard work and initiative with the opportunity to take care of your family. By signing this measure, Mayor Faulconer will literally enable hundreds of thousands of working San Diegans to afford child care and to not be penalized for staying home from work if they are ill or have a sick child."
We must make sure the Mayor hears us.
Will you join me Tuesday morning at 8:30 am at city hall for a vigil to urge Mayor Faulconer to do the right thing and sign the earned sick days & minimum wage ordinance!
Click here to RSVP and show your support for hard working San Diegans!
Thanks,
