“ I was very disappointed at the event because though I paid for pizza by the time I got to the table there was nothing I could east since there were only meat pizzas and I am a vegetarian. I think there needs to be some monitoring of people taking slices of pizza since many who don't pay take and also many take 2 slices before everyone gets even one. I would enjoy having pizza when I attend meeting, but I feel that I risk my health since I cannot go without eating. I suggest if pizzas is to be offered it must be done in a fair way. We are supposed to be a group of concern people working toward the best for everyone, why not in this case? I will give this meeting one more chance and then I will look for another that hopefully with be better at treating each other. ”

“ I felt powerless when we were choosing between progressives to run for the vacant Oakland Council seat, instead of finding some way to get all but one to drop out, like the right had arranged. Now that we have McNerney v turd-to-be-named race to work on, I feel energized. p.s., Nov. 11, 2006: Now every two years we have McNerney to work on: we saved his life, we're responsible for what happens to him. p.p.s. June 08: screw native american wisdom and McNerney, but at least he was useful to get rid of Pombo. Now he's just one more mediocre Demo (lord knows we've enough of those), albeit in a seat we don't deserve. I'm sending him 10 bucks, so maybe he'll be reminded of what he's missing. ”
