TONIGHT: "Voices of Activism: Crawford"

Eden J.
Hey folks... happy holidays!

Many DFA Meetuppers enjoyed Unconditional Theatre's performance of "Swing State Stories" at our last meetup in Oakland. And now, Unconditional Theatre is following it up with another documentary play straight from the headlines.

Come out and see the show tonight at the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts in Berkeley!

Be the Change,

An Evening of Theatre, Storytelling & Dialogue
Unconditional Theatre

Wednesday, November 30th, 7:30

Members of Unconditional Theatre traveled to Crawford, TX, to interview people on all sides of this summer's anti-war protests. The resulting documentary play traces the journeys of some surprising activists, including Camp Casey's founders, soldiers who turned against the war, first-time protesters, religious progressives, and counter-protesters from the "other side of the road". Every word in the script comes from the actual people they met in Crawford, so it promises to be an evening of wisdom and inspiration. This work-in-progress reading will include opportunities to offer feedback and share stories of your own.

Julia Morgan Center for the Arts
2640 College Ave (at Derby), Berkeley

Suggested Donation: $2-20, sliding scale
