Dear DFA’ers and Friends,

We hope to see you at the Annual Summer Picnic co-sponsored by Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club and East Bay Democracy for America. The pot luck picnic will be on Sunday, August 24th and you are invited. It will take place in the back yard of Jack Kurzweil’s house at 1737 Allston Way (between Grant and Roosevelt) in Berkeley.

The festivities will start at 1PM and end at 6PM. Come when you can and stay as long as you want.

RSVP Today!

We will provide hamburgers and sausages (including vegi stuff), but this is definitely a potluck. Please bring drinks, salads, desserts, finger food, additional main dishes or whatever suits your fancy. There are always new interesting dishes for you to try.

Jack’s back yard has been newly expanded. He got together with some of his neighbors to take down fences separating the yards in order to have a larger space accessible to all of us. We’d love to have you here.

We’ll have the chance to chat with new and old friends, eat some good food, and talk politics. There will be No Speeches.

Please rsvp. We’d like to have a bit of idea of how many to expect. But please feel free to decide to come at the last minute.

Many thanks,
Vincent Casalaina
EBDFA Organizing Team

PS – if you can help with the cleanup, please contact me directly. I need two or three more volunteers to make the work go more quickly.
