What makes aquaponics interesting to you?

As a senior, I am looking for a way to garden that I can work with in this aging body of mine! I am an avid fisher-woman, live on a lake and love fish. But the difficulty of launching the boat with arthritis is getting worse. I have been studying greenhouse designs and tuis seems the very best way to go. To grow our vegetables and harvedt fish too is perfect. Teach us how!

What level of aquaponics are you interested in: hobby system, self sufficiency, community focused, or commercial farming? (or all of these)?

Self sufficiency and community. I would love to help the young folks around us learn also.

What level of experience do you have with aquaponics?

Zero! But I have always gardened in dirt.

Retired and wanting to become as self-sustaining as possible and yet keep it affordable , manageable and fun.
