what is interesting is the efficiency of the whole process. there are numerous benefits to this style of farming, one of the greatest is that it takes some of the pressure of the lakes, rivers, and oceans of the world.
I'm interested in learning on a small scale and eventually attempting to support myself strictly by raising fish and growing herbs and vegetables.
I have traditional tractor style garden experience, enough to realize that it takes a lot of time and energy to fight with insects and weeds. and it takes a lot of space and a lot of water. I also have many years of saltwater aquarium experience.
This style of farming seems to me the answer to how we are going to feed the world in the future when traditional farming methods have turned most of the farm land into poison deserts.
