for those like me trying to figure out what kind of fish i want to have in my system.

surf this site a little, there is quite a lot of info on habitat and spawn/feeding for different fishes. (incl freshwater shrimp and crawfish, etc)

The SRAC site is full of GREAT information.... Their papers are sometimes a little dated, but not often, and especially not for the more popular species.

One of my background strengths is in Fisheries Biology, so if anyone has questions about a specific aquatic species - please ask, and I will do my best to help you find the answers that you need.
