Chuck Mallott returns to take us on an in depth tour of Fireworks CS4!If you have a copy of Creative Suite then chances are you have Fireworks lurking somewhere on the disk. If you don't know about Fireworks then don't miss this meeting!
Chuck Mallott is a design craftsman from Frisco, Texas. He has been using Fireworks to make web pages shine since 2000. When he's not pushing pixels as an interaction designer at Rosetta Stone, Chuck spends time with his family and enjoys reading books, listening to music, and following his favorite sports teams. In his spare time, he runs a freelance design consultancy and blogs about web-related topics at oaktreecreative.com.

DennisExcellent. Chuck gave us not only some good pointers for Fireworks, he also gave us real world examples of good and bad uses and talked about design in general. Plus, I won one of the raffle items! Love the new meeting place.

katlaneHelpful even if you have never used Fireworks. Had some general applicability to any design as well as some helpful tips with Fireworks. May be difficult to implement the specifics for new Fireworks users, but makes me want to get it and try.

Although I thought the presentation was fantastic I must admit I was expecting to see more reason to use Fireworks over Photoshop so far I see no reason to use Fireworks over Photoshop EXCEPT for the numerical control for positioning . All the vector options have been in Photoshop for a long time. Still IT WAS WELL WORTH ATTENDING. It was fantastic to see Chuck's workflow and thought process that alone made it very worth while!
