Suzette Allen from California is coming to Arlington, TX on Friday March 15. For only $49 you can learn from here all day long. To register, go to www.tppa.org
Here is what she is going to talk about: So, let’s solve two dilemmas: “how to pick up the pace with Photoshop,” and “how to add a fresh profit center.” The solution: “Hand Painted Portraits!” The first half of the day, Suzette will get you up to speed with Photoshop workflow, using Lightroom 4 with a transition to Photoshop, for speedy retouching techniques. Other presentation options will include artistic edges, overlays and easy embellishments. The second half of the day will focus on developing the Painted Portrait profit center. Notice the name “Profit Center.” That doesn’t mean spending 20 hours on each one! Suzette will demonstrate some speedy ways in Photoshop CS5/6 to make beautiful, hand-painted portraits (incorporating some helpful filters to speed things up) and how to customize brushes to get just the look you want. Her techniques are based on efficiency for the purpose of making a saleable premium product with a production mind-set. This will be a platform demonstration, so you do not need your computers (unless you like to type your notes). Suzette will demonstrate techniques at a pace that can be absorbed (at an intermediate level) and there will be time for questions. Notes and a sampler of tools will be provided as a download for class attendees. For any photographer who wants to step up the creativity and profitability or anyone who just loves photography and Photoshop creativity, this will be an invaluable class. Suzette Allen has been a leading Photoshop educator for over ten years and a portrait photographer for 25 years. She knows her craft and has a natural ability of making the complexity of learning Photoshop a whole lot simpler AND a lot of fun. Suzette is a down-to-earth lover of people, art and creativity, and she loves to teach. Her students rave about her easy-going style and depth of Photoshop knowledge, but mostly of how useful and applicable her material is for their actual photographic workflow. |

Hi I'm confused. I signed up for this workshop & in one section it said $49 included 3 mo.TPPA membership & a pass to attend. Then after signing up in the final registration it then said they would be checking to see if I was a TPPA member by contacting Doug I think, or basically just confirming membership. My Meetup old email has me locked out &in trying to change it can't get let back into an old acct.without losing emails...craziness. at any rate, I joined DFWAUG last week then saw the Suzette. Allen workshop...it went from there. Do you know if non TPPA members CAN attend? I must make a room reservation if so but no confirmation on sign up yet. Thank you plz.
