If you are new to climbing, have been too shy about attending, or you've tried it a few times and don't quite have the hang of it yet, then this is the one to attend!

Join us on Thursday nights at  Summit Climbing Gym in Grapevine for the beginning of a new adventure. Our friendly climbing crew will guide you through the basic skills, let you become acquainted with the equipment, help you send (successfully climb) your first climb and answer your questions so you can be on your way to becoming an amazing climber.

Feel free to msg one of the organizers to look out for you when you arrive.  People arrive as early as 5 and stay till close.  Also you can ask the front desk to point you to one of our group.

About Summit
Summit is located on Mustang drive behind Tinseltown Movie Theatre. The sport walls are 40 feet high with a beautiful arch feature, overhangs, roofs, 2 challenging cracks and a chimney. They also have a speed climbing wall if you're feeling competitive and a separate bouldering area with lots of fun features. 

Cost

Make sure you ask for the special Addison Rock Climbing Group discount which should be around $10 plus tax and includes harness, shoes and chalk bag rental. 

What do I wear to climb?

Wear comfortable clothes (something you might workout in). You can change in their bathrooms if you prefer to change into your climbing clothes at the gym. You can rent the gear you'll need including shoes from Summit. 

Anything Else?

If you bring anything else with you, they provide cubbies for you to put your stuff in for free. Summit also has water fountains and they have other beverages, snacks and climbing gear available for purchase.
