Networking to Win - Special Guest Speaker Denise Stokes

Please join us at Tre Amici this month. We have a special guest speaker, Denise Stokes, to present "Networking to Win". I can not say enough wonderful things about her but she has taught so many people the key to networking. We will also be doing our 60 second commercial and having a give away prize! After Denise speaks I will be doing a mini presentation of what WedCast is and how it can benefit your company!

Dise Stokes is the PR & Communications Manager with the Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau. She cultivates story ideas to gain positive exposure for Frisco as a leisure, convention, meetings and sporting event destination; directs on-going media relations with local, regional, and national travel writers and other media; newsletter and other CVB publications, web site and special project development;
and all public relation activities helping to establish the CVB as a key local economic
development driver. Prior to joining the Frisco CVB, Denise spent ten years as an engaging, informative and persuasive on-air radio personality with the ABC Radio Networks, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. Through her work with ABC, there was a time when Denise could be heard on as many as 89 R&B radio stations in 26 states and in more than 170 foreign countries, anywhere U.S. troops were stationed, on the Armed Forces Network. Before landing at the ABC Radio Networks, Denise spent an additional ten years working for various radio stations around the country She has built a personal brand in which she is known for keeping the lines of communication open, quickly being able to adapt and connect with people and a passion or shaping and framing messages. Those attributes and the ability to multi-task also led to a variety of other opportunities while still on the radio like motivational speaker, voice-over artist, television news writer and producer, web site editor and content provider, on-camera movie critic, official voice of the live Maryland State Lottery drawings, public relation and media relations manager and event producer. Denise is an active member of the Dallas chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, also on the Editorial Advisory Board of the publication
Texas Meetings & Events and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Texas Woman’s University.
