Introduction
Was a member of Darryl's group and am trying to learn digital photography.
What camera(s) and equipment (i.e. lenses) do you use?
Nikon D5000 with AF-S Nikkor 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 VR
What photo manipulation program(s) do you use? (i.e. Adobe Lightroom; Photoshop CS5 for PC or Mac)

Is photography a hobby or profession?
Was a proffession in my youth (portrait photos), hope it will be again, but with digital instead of film and nature instead of portraits.
What types of photography do you enjoy (i.e. nature; artistic; portraits; landscapes; macro; etc...)
Nature, Wildlife, Horses, Landscapes, Underwater
Do you have a favorite place/event that you like taking pictures of? If yes, feel free to explain.
Science Fiction Conventions (Costumes and models) Underwater -anywhere My Yard and forest.

Theresa - have you tried the 380 Greenbelt? If not, it is worth a try. You can either go to the lake (6mi round trip) or upstream (8-9mi rt). It will cost you $7/person.
An alternative is about 5-6 miles east on 380. You have to wade through the mud but almost nobody goes there. You can go quite a way up the river (NE). There is no cost since you park on the side of the road. You will be about 1/4 mile from the open lake.

Teresa we do triathlon water support that is a free gig, and you're welcome to bring your own boat. Our Llela tour would be discounted if you want rouse your own boat, we would only charge you for the shuttle back to the cars.
