It is that time once again to start going through all the photos you took from one of the club events (listed below in the rules) and find your favorite to submit to the July Photo Contest. Last months winner was Lynn Cromer with this photo from the Balloon lift off:
The deadline for entry is Sunday the 15th at midnight. Good luck to all entries.
Here are the rules:
1.) The photo you enter MUST have been taken at one of the Dallas Digital Photography Meetup Chapter events in the month of July.
2.) The following events were done in July: Photograph the Fireworks KABOOM!!, Portraits and Headshots, Lake Grapevine fireworks, Dallas Vigilantes: Arena football, Taking terrific engagement photos and Lakeside arts festival.
3.) In order to enter, you will need to EMAIL me the photo. My email address is [address removed]
4.) IMPORTANT! The photo you send in should not have any watermarks or names on the photo itself and the size should be no longer or shorter than 1024 on the long side.
5.) Subject line of the email should read JULY DFW PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB PHOTO CONTEST. In the body of the text of your email, you MUST include A.) Your reall full name, B.) Your Meetup profile name, and C.) event that the photo was taken at and model name if there is one.
6.) You have until August 15th at midnight to enter the contest. I will post the entries in a poll shortly thereafter and give everyone a week or so to vote. Winner will get to attend the next walk-a-bout for free.
7.) I will also have a contest in the Glamour Photography Club of Texas. You can enter BOTH contests. However, you can only win one. And if you win a contest one month, you must skip a month before you can re-enter either clubs contest. Photos from one club are not eligible to enter into the other clubs contest.
