As you know I like to send out emails approximately 1X per week rather than everytime a new event is posted. That being said we have some new events and some previously posted events that I want to remind everyone about. All of the topics below have the details posted on the Meetup Website so check out the ones you are interested in. Here goes!
Don't forget we have three Webinars this week! Strobist Off Camera Flash webinar is tonight. Adobe Lightroom: What it is and What it Does is Wednesday night, and finally, HDR Photography webinar is on Thursday night.
This Friday night, I hope you'll join us for the Ft. Worth Skyline Photoshoot! It starts at 7pm but I know it is a workday so if you are working and can't get there till a little later, come on out!
Outdoor Portraits 101 is being taught by myself this Saturday morning at 9:00am. And Eric is going to teach at Outdoor Portraits 201 class at 12:30pm. These events are exclusive of each other so you can sign up for either one or both of them.
I'm following up the Adobe Lightroom webinar this Wednesday night, with a series of Adobe Lightroom Classes. Each class will be taught on Wednesday night, 01/25, 02/01, & 02/08.
EAGLE FEST! Greg Duffer has arranged a trip to photograph Eagles on Saturday 01/28. (Greg warns it like fishing though. You got to get up early and there are no guarantees). This is a truly unique opportunity though and I hope you will try and make it out to this.
Dinner at Hard Eight Bar-B-Q in Coppell will be on Monday night, 01/30. Hard Eight has good food and plenty of seating so I hope you will come out.
Adobe Lightroom 4.0 Beta will be the topic at our February Monthly Meeting on 02/12. Gene McCullagh will be our guest speaker. If you use Lightroom, or are thinking about using Lightroom you don't want to miss Gene and this great topic.
Finally, I haven't forgotten about our weekly challenges. I'll try to get those up very soon and I appreciate your patience. As you can see from all the events above it's been a busy time for us.
