Hey everyone!  It's been a few weeks sent I sent any emails out, so PAY ATTENTION!  lol

Seriously, we have some good things coming up.

First off, make sure you put on your calendar the Streaking Tail Lights event on Nov. 9th.  This will be at my favorite location for this type of photography.  Great traffic patterns, a wide bridge to work off of, and the first friday after we've moved our clocks back.  So you'll get some great shots this night.

Want to learn more about Adobe LIGHTROOM?  Two events this week can help you out.  The first is tomorrow night.  Eric is teaching a webinar on portrait retouching in Lightroom.  So if your photos work with faces, don't miss it.  And on this SATURDAY, Gene McCollugh is teaching Lightroom Basics.  Gene's presentation is FREE but you need to sign up over at the Adobe User Group meetup group (  Gene is one of the most knowledgable persons I know that knows Lightroom.  So this is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn from one of the best!

We have a few other classes to tell you about too.  This Saturday morning I teach the Outdoor Portraits Lighting made easy.  It's a great way to learn how to work with natural lighting to photograph people outdoors.  A few Saturdays after that, Nov 9th, Eric will teach outdoor portrait techniques using your speedlight.  This too is a great class for most any photographer.

Finally, on Saturday the 27th, a Macro class is available to take on location at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens.  So if you want to get close to your photoghahic subjects and don't know how, check this class out.

All the classes and events are on our meetup website except for Genes, so go take a look at our calendar and find something that interests you, pick up your camera, and start taking those photographs!
