project night

At last week's social dinner, we talked about following the lead of
the Boston user group by trying out the "project night" concept.

The idea is for members of the Python user group to show up someplace
with the intent of working on whatever project they want. Anyplace
with power outlets and internet access would work; food and restrooms
are also a plus :-). The difference between this and a social dinner
is...that we would plan to actually work instead of sit around and
talk.

Beginners would be explicitly welcome and would be seated in a group,
and the experienced Python developers would be present to help the
beginners if they got stuck on something in their project.

Likewise even the more experienced developers get stuck on things
sometimes, so it's often helpful to have someone present to bounce
ideas off.

I had mentioned Wed Mar 28 at Taco Cabana as one possible date and
venue, but I waited too long to announce it. How about Wed at 7pm next
week, at the same Taco Cabana in Addison where we have been holding
the social dinner?

Please let me know if this time works for anyone else, and I'll
schedule the meetup.
