William and I worked together when I organized WordCamp Dallas in March of 2008, and we met so many WordPress bloggers and had such a good time, we thought it'd be a shame to lose contact with one another for a whole year.

If you use WordPress for blogging, or if you're just interested in learning to blog, this'll be a great opportunity to network with others having similar interests in your area.

If nothing else, join up and enjoy the conversations online.

I was thinking we ought not to sit at one long table, but instead stand and mingle a bit more. Either that, or actually get an area where we could have a bunch of chairs in a circle where we could all speak, or maybe even have one or two people at a time speaking. Or do you prefer the sit down and limit your conversation to three or four people at a time method?

When I first heard the WiFi was out at Cafe Brazil, I thought we we were screwed, but it actually forced us to (gasp!) talk to each other! Never mind that my little end of the table talked about everything (and I do mean everything!) except WordPress.

I wish I could come, but I have other engagements back to back (to back) on Saturday.

My wife (DB Furguson) had the idea of having it somewhere along the DART light rail line, so people wouldn't have to drive so far. Trinity Hall Irish Pub at Mockingbird Station has WiFi, and a casual atmosphere. It might be worth checking out. www.trinityhall.tv
